Going from strength to strength! Plans for 2018.

Despite the ‘radio silence’ on the website, the Mid-Life Crisis Cycling Club go from strength to strength, and are out and about regularly, throughout the year.

Since 2015 we’ve been to Wales, the Cotswolds and Somerset, with plenty of local rides in-between.

Our two main events for 2018 are a four day tour of the World War One battlefields of France and Belgium, and a weekend trip to Portsmouth and the New Forest (PanNFor18).

We’re currently designing a logo for the group, and even have our own MLCCC song!

Hopefully we’ll be updating this website more regularly in the future, and letting you know of our ‘adventures’.

Updates.

As 2015 is now well under way the MLCCC team have plenty of rides in the planning, and have already been out every weekend so far in some form or other (thanks to Paul Jefferys for organising those).

Dates for the diary so far are:

22nd March 2015.

Mad March 60. A 60 mile ride organised by Tim Constable, with a stop off at Cotswold Airport cafe along the way.

10th May 2015.

Wiggle Jurassic Beast. Dorset. Organised by Paul Jefferys.

27th / 28th June 2015.

Ross In Reverse. Our third visit to Ross on Wye, via Stroud, Gloucester, Newent, Symonds Yat, Monmouth, Tintern, Chepstow, and the old Severn Bridge, carrying all our camping kit with us. A great route at 125 miles over the two days, but this time anti-clockwise for a change.

18th /19th July 2015.

RHUMBA in Wales. A nostalgic journey of 100 miles in two days taking in at least nine castles, Hay-On-Wye, Llangors Lake and the Mon and Brec Canal.  (Raglan, Hay-on-Wye, Usk, Monmouth, Brecon, Abergavenny).

 T.B.C. 2015

Bob Buckley Ride. A 60 mile round trip to Bourton near Shrivenham to see an old friend. Along the way we’ll be able to sample the delights of Swindon.
